David Odaka

President

  • For more than three decades, David has been at the forefront of the luxury travel industry. He pioneered travel management for the entertainment industry in the 1980s and over the years has built a business catering to an impressive list of high net-worth individuals and entertainment giants such as William Morris and United Talent Agency.

    David debuted the All Star Travel Group (ASTG) in 2003, where he took his proven formula for servicing the most demanding clients and making the impossible happen and applied it beyond the entertainment industry. While overseeing All Star Travel Group’s powerhouse operation, he remained passionately dedicated to his longtime personal clients.

    David’s long-term success can be attributed to his keen sense of what’s new and what’s next, and an ability to adapt quickly and anticipate problems before they happen. Today, David continues to reinvent himself with the launch of his newest endeavor, OffGrid Travel, propelling the industry forward with a select group of the industry’s elite—business savvy travel advisors focused on innovation and new ways to evolve and grow.

  • Sarah caught the travel bug when she studied abroad in Spain at age 15. Upon returning home, she interned at a travel agency and her future was sealed. She began her career in student travel and study abroad before moving to Los Angeles and pursuing an interest in entertainment travel where her knack for technology naturally led her into the travel technology, innovation, and operations space. While she is no longer a travel advisor, she loves being “the wizard behind the curtain,” helping OffGrid agents make the impossible happen, creating unforgettable experiences for our clients.

  • Matthew is passionate about finding beauty through travel, in its many forms. He recently began French lessons.

Matthew Becker

  • After studying in Rome in her senior year in college, Heather knew she wanted a job that would enable her to travel. Today, she is a seasoned hospitality professional with a rich career history working with renowned brands including Four Seasons and Auberge Resorts Collection. With a wealth of luxury experience delivering exceptional service and her deep relationships with hoteliers, Heather is dedicated to ensuring her team’s success by learning about the world every day and planning once in a lifetime travel experiences for her clients.

  • Melissa is a Los Angeles native who discovered her love for travel on her first international trip to Israel. Seeking a more immersive experience, she moved to Spain for two years where she taught English. This led to her decision to make a career in the travel industry where she got her foot in the door as receptionist at All Star Travel Group. Now she proudly serves as direct assistant to David Odaka, helping to streamline the travel planning process and delivering highly personalized and detailed itineraries for our clients.
